I spent much of last night sampling selected sounds off my old Roland MC-303 Groovebox. (Not all of them; just the ones I'd want to keep, and have access to on my laptop.)
I've found that I haven't really used it much recently (doing most of my music on a computer, increasingly with softsynths), and I'm probably going to sell it soon. Anyone interested in a MC-303?
see above re: eternal hellfire and damnation
why are you (and more importantly in this regard, your 303) so far away?!?
i've been wanting a 303 for ~6 years now. it's one of my dreams.
and shipping would definitely be too much.
Note that this is not an actual TB-303 bassline synth, but the MC-303 Groovebox (i.e., a box of 90s-style "dance" sounds with a built-in sequencer and MIDI; the sound engine is a Sound Canvas-like sample player).
It's still fun to play with, and the sounds have their uses (and there's a lot of them), though it's not quite as tweakalicious (or expensive) as a TB-303.
