This afternoon, I caught a train to Ringwood East, to visit Dad. It's interesting to travel the old route once or twice a year, seeing how things change since you commuted that way twice a day to school, all those years ago. What's not so good was sharing a group of seats with two women and their young kids. In particular, when the child sitting (to use the word loosely) in the seat opposite you, and from whose sticky-looking person a slight fecal aroma is emanating, keeps fidgeting and consequently kicking you in the shins, and its mother is completely oblivious to the fact that her little angel could be inconveniencing other passengers, or possibly that that is anything but their problem.

Fortunately, they got off at Blackburn.

Dude, down this way, the general populace are still coming to grips with DVD players. iPods are waaaaay beyond the comprehension of your average train-loitering dullard.
